He’s credited with helping to pioneer trap music, a hip hop subgenre, along with other Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Gucci Mane. Jeezy was previously a member of Boyz n da Hood, a rap group from Bad Boy Records. He’s known for his solo career and is considered the leader of U.S.D.A.
