Jay Wayne Jenkins who goes by the stage name Jeezy (formerly Young Jeezy), is an American rapper and leader of the southern hip hop group United Streets Dopeboyz of America (U.S.D.A). He’s credited with helping to pioneer trap music, a hip hop subgenre, along with other Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Gucci Mane. Jeezy was previously a member of Boyz n da Hood, a rap group from Bad Boy Records. He’s known for his solo career and is considered the leader of U.S.D.A.
