Tim Matheson is an American actor and director. He is known for his roles as the title character in the 1964 animated series Jonny Quest, Eric “Otter” Stratton in Animal House, and Vice President John Hoynes in The West Wing. He also played Doc Mullins in Virgin River and starred in the 2019 horror film Child’s Play. Matheson has also made guest appearances on TV shows such as Madam Secretary, The Good Fight, and This is Us.
